Trip to Back Bay Farm (Ipswich / MA) and picking strawberries on the farm
On Sunday morning, we were roused by acquaintances and invited us to go to the farm to look at the horses, and in general on the animals, how they are bred here. And also to visit the farm where vegetables and fruits are grown. The season of strawberries began. Since for me this is a novelty, and Dariella was never there, decided to go and feel it.
Go there from us for 20-30 minutes. Arriving at the farm immediately noticed the horses and the donkey (to which the wife went).

Looking at the rest of the animals, namely the pig, goats, ponies and others, we went to the farm where we collected the strawberries.
It was a small shock to me that there was such a farm at all. This farm has a variety of fruits, vegetables and berries. Their collection is divided into seasons when they reach, that is, in fact, you can ride 5-6 months a year each weekend with news of fruits or vegetables.
On the territory there is enough parking space, a shop (quite big for me) with souvenirs and various products, there is a small farm with chickens, rabbits, etc. Small animals.

There are small reservoirs. For entrance from a person you need to give a mortgage of 3 dollars. They are returned in case you return with fruits and vegetables collected and pay for them. When you arrive on the field, you type boxes (the quantity you choose for yourself), and you go to collect them (in our case, strawberries). In humans, such farms are popular, and as I understand, there are far not poor people, and they are considered as an element of rest. Prices are not big for 7 pounds we paid $ 15 - ($ 6). Strawberries milked for a week and a half, did not spoil. Overall satisfied, a little tan, but it's worth it, I think we'll return to the farm for other berries and fruits again not once))
